Large Stone Chips in an Earth-Toned Palette
Pastorali’s pattern comes from the contrast between its pale base and mixed stone colours. Broad beige pieces sit alongside darker brown and green fragments, with smaller chips filling the spaces between them. The large aggregate gives the surface a different appearance from a fine-speckled terrazzo.
Choose one of those chip colours to connect the terrazzo with the rest of the room. Beige cabinetry can pick up the warmer pieces; dark green joinery can echo the smaller green fragments. Plain surrounding surfaces leave the aggregate pattern easy to read.
Scale matters with this design. Ask to see a full slab photograph as well as a close-up sample before choosing a counter or a large floor area. A small sample shows the material’s detail, but it may contain only a few of the larger chips. For tiles, compare several pieces together to judge the distribution of colour across the proposed layout.

Frequently Asked Questions
The photographed MIH-129 sample has a pale base with beige, burgundy-brown and dark green chips. The fragments vary in size and shape, creating a mixed pattern rather than a single dominant colour. Use a current physical sample to approve the shade and aggregate appearance.
Start with the room dimensions and joint layout, then compare the pattern across several pieces. Larger formats can show more of the aggregate distribution within each tile, while smaller pieces divide the pattern into more sections. Ask for photographs that show the size you are considering rather than relying on a close-up alone.
The listed slab sizes are 2400 × 1600 mm and 3200 × 1600 mm, with 20, 25 and 30 mm thicknesses. Tiles and cut-to-size pieces are also listed. Confirm the exact format, finish and thickness combination before placing an order.
It can be considered for these applications after the dimensions, supports, cut-outs and finish are reviewed. Send drawings showing sink or appliance openings and exposed edges. Ask for the sealing and care requirements for the proposed use before approving fabrication.
Send your furniture design with the required dimensions, quantity and support details. Fabrication options for MIH-129 can then be assessed for the proposed piece. Ask the quotation to identify the terrazzo components and whether bases, frames or assembly are included.
